PHILIPPINES TRAIL

The republic of Philippines is an archipelagoin the Western Pacific Ocean consisting of more than 7100 islands. Given its diverse fauna and flora distributed across its islands, it is home to nearly 604 species of birds, which includes nearly 170 endemics, found nowhere else in the world.

IT Nature Club will be organizing a trail to this bio rich group of islands during the month of April/ May 2020 starting from 27th April 2020 – 9th May 2020.

ENCHANTING BRAZIL

Brazil is one of the largest countries  in South America as well as one of the most diverse and fascinating nation in the world.  Steeped in rich dose of history, culture, religion and its mad love for sports makes it one of the most diverse  nation in the world.

Brazil’s biodiversity and its rich eco systems boast of largest collection of plant and animal species not found anywhere else on earth. The Amazon landscape include toucans, scarlet macaws, howler monkeys, capybaras, pink dolphins, sea turtles and of course the Jaguars and many many more species.

The itinerary included travelling through Rio, Iguazzu Falls,Pantanal and Manaus to explore and enjoy this colourful nation.

ALTAI EXPEDITION

No leopard like a Snow Leopard !

We at IT Nature Club will be venturing into the majestic Altai Mountains of Mongolia in a quest to see the magnificiant Snow Leopards alongwith the other enigmatic and iconic wildlife like Argali, Siberian Ibex, Grey Wolf and many more. 

We will also be seeking to spot the avian fauna of the region such Altai Snowcock, White-winged Redstart, Rufous-streaked Accentor, Plain Mountain-finch, Black-headed Mountain-finch, and Asian Rosy-finch etc.

RWANDA-LAND OF THOUSAND HILLS

Though small in size with its (26,338 kms2) Rwanda boasts of highest concerntration of birds per square kilometer in Africa with a bird list of over 700 species and the second highest number of Albertine Rift Endemics than any other country.Birding in Rwanda will reward you with many rare bird species easily accessed across remarkly diverse habits.

Our itinerary includes traversing through the beautiful country to enjoy the amazing birdlife and to track the highly endangered mountain gorillas of Rwanda.
