Footsteps In Kanha

With a clear focus on the International Year of Sustainable Tourism for Development by UNWTO this year, to explore and highlight tourism’s potential to help transform our world into a place of prosperity and well being for all ,we are happy to announce the initiative 'Footsteps In Kanha'.

As one of the largest and fastest-growing socio-economic sectors of our times, tourism can stimulate economic growth, create decent jobs and business opportunities, helping millions of people escape poverty and improve their livelihoods. In celebration and with the focus on community driven tourism,we invite participants to “Travel. Enjoy. Respect ” focusing on the role of tourists in promoting responsible travelling and making an effective ‘change‘ while travelling around one of the beautiful reserves of India ,Kanha Tiger Reserve in Madhya Pradesh.

If you love watching wildlife, if you love the forests, if you are non fussy about spending four nights in a simple tribal home and understanding the pitfalls and difficulties of loving your roots living around a protected area and hanging onto it in spite of all the difficulties with a innocent villager’s smile , then do join us for the event Footsteps In Kanha from 21st February 2018 to 25th February 2018.
